What the flock!

Have you ever tried to get a picture of a flock of chickens? It’s not easy! They move constantly. This group photo is about as good as it gets. Regardless of their terrible photo behavior, we’d like you to meet our flock! We love them like our babies and look forward to sharing their shenanigans with you here. Here are the stars of the show!

  • Mr. Myrtle
    Mr. Myrtle – Flashy comb, proud crow, bossy attitude, and major main-character energy. A rascal, a protector, and fully convinced the flock revolves around him.
  • Staci
    Staci – The tiniest Delaware with the biggest curiosity—always a little dirty, loves being held, and specializes in pecking, scratching, and strategically avoiding Mr. Myrtle. Small, spunky, and always on the move.
  • Xochitl
    Xochitl – The loudest Delaware with nonstop commentary, surprise shoulder landings, and big-sister energy. Part hen, part parrot, 100% personality.
  • Taco
    Taco – A super-soft Chocolate Orpington with fancy feather patterns, fluffy “knickers,” and a fresh short-cut in back. Confident, cozy, and totally unbothered.
  • Natasha
    Natasha – A sweet, snuggly Chocolate Orpington who literally blushes when excited. Calm and rosy one minute, bright red cheeks the next—adorable through and through.
  • Nebula
    Nebula – Quiet, sweet, Chocolate Orpington, and effortlessly low-key. She blends in, skips the drama, and proves that calm confidence doesn’t need the spotlight.
  • Vera
    Vera – A cuddle-loving New Hampshire Red with big sister instincts and cozy lap-nap skills. Always checking on her flock—and likely first in line to lay eggs. Sweet to the core.
  • Fawn
    Fawn – A fiery New Hampshire Red with a big fluffy tail, a jaunty hop, and nonstop energy. Early bloomer, full of sass, and absolutely unstoppable.
  • Gamora
    Gamora – A loyal Jersey Giant who sticks close to her crew—especially Jeepers. She’ll listen to your secrets, just don’t expect cuddles.
  • Jeepers
    Jeepers – A little bossy, very independent, and not here to follow the crowd. She’s a Jersey Giant. She’ll hang—on her terms.
